Health and Safety
-
Our approach to safety is simple. Safety has the highest priority.
Through our extensive experience in both hazardous and non-hazardous
construction/remediation operations we have developed strong capabilities
in the areas of health and safety.
A.S.T.'s Corporate Health and Safety Officer is
responsible for establishing and supervising the implementation of
corporate safety policies and programs.
Our training program incorporates
standards set forth by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.120 and 29 CFR 1926.65.
The training program covers
contaminant identification/evaluation, hazard recognition, site entry
procedures, air monitoring protocols, and construction safety. The program also
involves an extensive annual physical |
|
examination and documentation for
accidents and injuries. As necessary, changes to the Health and
Safety Program are made to reflect the most current regulatory
requirements.
