Description: A.S.T. performed air
emissions testing on a regenerative catalytic oxidizer that is part of an
aluminum casting line. The testing was conducted on the inlet and outlet
simultaneously using Method 7E for the determination of NOx
and Method 25A for the determination of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)
concentrations. We utilized a dual analyzer process during the test runs
to obtain methane and total gaseous non-methane organic concentrations.

Project: Air Emissions Testing
Location: Middletown, Ohio and Rockport, Indiana
Description: A.S.T. has conducted
air emissions sampling at two AK Steel facilities. All testing was
coordinated with the state regulatory agencies. The testing was conducted
using the following methods: 40 CFR, Part 60, Performance Specifications 2
and 3, for determination of NOx concentrations and
Relative Accuracy Testing Audit of the NOx analyzer,
EPA Reference Methods 1-4 and 7E for the determination of NOx
concentrations and EPA Reference Methods 1-5 and 202 for the determination
of total filterable and condensable particulate emissions.
